I'm Putting On A Shindig!!

and I hope many of you will want to attend!! Since 1998, I have produced an annual wedding/bridal show for the Baltimore area. And so far - so good, as y'all have turned out in DROVES to see what's new, hip, trendy, exciting and simply fabulous for all things nuptial. And for that - I thank you!!

Because of my uber-hectic schedule this year, I didn't throw my "party"...but all of that is changing in 2008!!! So....I'm putting the word out on the street in advance, the DIVA is planning the sleekest, sexiest, WOW wedding event you've ever laid eyes on. "Soiree" is the name and bringing you the very best in nuptial happenings is truly the focus of this game!!!

Be forewarned - this is so not your typical bridal show!!!. I'm a different kinda chick anyway..so I will make sure that you are entertained, have the opportunity to feast your eyes and all 5 senses on things that are simply gorgeous, eat delicious food, drink great "concoctions", meet only the BEST wedding providers in the area AND walk away with salient, useful information that will help you and your beloved plan the most amazing wedding ever! And to top it all off - each attendee will get a "goody bag" - full of treasures I know you'll love!

And yes - I will be in the house, meeting and greeting all of you - as well as taking questions from the audience. No query is too "out there", too "complex", too "crazy" - I guarantee that I will give you the answer, straight up - no chaser!!!

Stay tuned for more details!!!!!!

Hey Linnyette!

Glad to hear you are recovering quickly and back in the planning game. This event sounds fabulous! Wish I could get married all over again just to have an excuse to go! :) As you can see I still check your blog just to keep up with the Diva! Take care, Lauren Nichols :)

My Dearest Diva!
How funny I was just looking that up on the web, wondering when you were going to do another one. I will be there. I have no fiance right now; however I can't pass up the opportunity to meet the wedding diva. See you there.

OMG! This sounds so exciting. I will check out your blog from time to time to get more info. I will come from Kansas to see you in person. BTW it seems like you are healing well from your knee replacement surgery and I am so happy. You and your family are in my prayers. I have had 5 knee surgeries myself (they say replacement is next).

great to hear that you are recovering well. I'm not yet a bride, but I can't wait to attend your upcoming "Soiree" show. I will be delighted to meet you in person after reading your two wonderful books.

I'm glad to see that y'all want to come to my "party"! I am hashing out some final "details" - but as soon as they are completed, I'll post information about the date/location and time.

I can tell you this much - I'll be making use of technology...so tickets will be available for purchase online through my website. However - when they become available, snap em' up! Last year's show was a sellout!!!

Linnyette,

Glad that you are feeling better. Put me down as an attendee. Honey you rock on WWIA! I'd attend anything you produce in a minute!

I'm going to have to see if I can get your books, I am an avid reader and I love all books on business and event planning.

Can't wait for the Soiree! Take care!

WOW! As a Baltimore native, I would love to attend.
(note to self, find a future husband so I will actually have a reason to attend a bridal show! LOL!)

Linnyette,
I have seen you ON "Whose Wedding Is It, Anyway?" and I loved you from the start. I love the way that you really passionate about your couples and the way you help your clients have what they want, be different, and save them money too. You have inspired me and now I am persuing my own dream of becoming a wedding/event planner. I would love to attend your "Soiree'"-just to have the oppurtunity to be in your presence would be great for me and to meet you even better. I live in North Carolina, where your sister is residing but not in the same town. I live in a small town and if this business plan of mines works, will be the only person in my field in my town that I know of. That's a good thing and a bad thing at the same time but I am hoping to conquer it with a big smile and my whole heart like you do. I hope that you recover real soon because I love the advice part of the show and you give some great advice. You're in my prayers and I hope that God continues to bless you. Take care.
